Pet and House Sitting

I’m Hollis.  I’m a long-time resident of Seattle (30 years) and owner of my own Interior Design business (I primarily work from home and will likely spend good parts of the day with your animals).

In January 2023 I lost my beloved dog, Poppy.  Her death has left a huge hole in my heart–and I’m finally ready to love up on other animals.  

Poppy was almost 17 years old when she died–and while I always was concerned about her when I left town–the last few years were especially hard, as she was so set in her routine/ways and had some special needs (diet, meds, etc.).

I understand the trepidation leaving your beloved pets with someone new, and I promise to care for your animals as my own.  I’m more than happy to accommodate routines/schedules for older animals–I will tailor my care as directed by you.

And as an Interior Designer, I promise to tend to your home in a loving way, including–but not limited to–collecting mail, changing lights/security check, watering indoor and outdoor plants, etc.  Again, happy to take on requested tasks (within reason).

AVAILABILITY:
I’m currently booking for pet sitting gigs for the fall of 2023. I prefer jobs that are 5+ days.

FEE:
My “per night” fee is for up to two household pets. Any additional pet after the first two will be added as an Extra Pet charge.

Per Night: $125
Additional Pet: $15

CANCELLATION POLICY:
0 – 48 business hours before service: 100% fee is due
2 – 4 days before service: 50% of fee is due
5 days or more before a service: no charge
